Districts of Nizhny Novgorod: Nine Ways of Living in One City

The Moskovsky District is the most dynamically developing area in Zarechye. Large new neighbourhoods are concentrated here: modern courtyards, new schools, infrastructure designed from the start for today’s comfort standards rather than adapted to them after the fact.

In 2025 the map of Nizhny Novgorod changed: the ninth district — Kstovsky — officially joined the city district. This is a territory that combines the status of a major city with suburban space — a rare combination that usually forces a choice of one or the other.
