The Kirsch family
'We're not just building a house; we're creating a legacy — a project that brings people and cultures together.'
The founders of the Russian-German eco-village
Remo, a professional electrician, and his wife Birgit, a nurse. Together, they built a thriving business in Germany.
Their deep sympathy for Russia, however, has led them to make the fateful decision to leave their established lives behind and start afresh in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
This bold move evolved into the unique RuDe Russian-German eco-village project, which has become a bridge between cultures.

The couple received Russian citizenship in March 2024 by special directive of the Russian president.
Today, Remo acts as the region's ambassador to Europe, promoting life in Russia and an Advisor to the Governor on resettlement matters. Birgit always remains his support.
