Having confidently moved from first plans to obtaining a temporary residence permit, the Golembiewskis are now pursuing their ultimate goal: creating warm family homes and contributing to the development of the welcoming Nizhny Novgorod land.
In August 2023, Kevin and Patricia, who ran a construction company in Germany, traveled in their motorhome and visited the Nizhny Novgorod Region. That trip became a turning point — they fell in love with the region, its nature, and its potential.
In spring 2024, they crossed the Russian border with the intention of staying permanently. The family settled in the Bogorodsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and began building their own home.
