Laurent, a translator with professional experience in Paris and Tokyo, and his daughter Ella, who is passionate about foreign languages and cultures, share a dream of making Russia their home and contributing significantly to the life of their adopted country.
The Russian government officially recognized their status as highly-skilled professionals with potential for the region.This paved the way for their future achievements, including business development, Ella's admission to a Russian university, and their full integration into the country's life.
New reality: Adaptation and success
In early 2025, their journey led them to Russia, and they chose the Nizhny Novgorod region as their new home. They are now actively immersing themselves in the local community.
They have started to develop their Black to Green project, a world-class initiative of biochar production, improving soil fertility and providing solutions for arid regions.

The Clarot family‘s new life
Their energy and determination were met with tangible support. Supported by the OKA Agency, the Clarot family received a temporary residence permit (TRP) in Russia in the spring of 2025 by Executive Order No. 702 of the Russian President.
